Robert Charbonneau has been living in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia for the past 5 years and he has been involved in photography for over 25 years. Next to landscape photography, architectural photography is his passion. His goal is to create photos that are beautiful and designed to make you and your property look great. His background in home/ interior design will also assist the seller in staging their home to make it stand out creating greater interest from your potential buyers.
Having bought and sold many homes he noticed that most listings on MLS have photos that just do not do the property justice.“80% of home buyers use the internet in their home search and rate photos as being the most useful tool,” this according to the National Association of Realtors 2006 Home Buyer Survey. The internet has dramatically changed today’s real estate marketplace, with buyers quickly adapting to the benefits it provides. That said… home sellers and real estate agents also need to change how they market their properties in order to keep up with the high expectations of today’s sellers and buyers.
A professionally photographed property dramatically increases the likelihood that a potential client will look at your property first. On a typical real estate website, most photos are small, uninspiring and generally under lit. If the photos do not have good lighting and are not well composed the buyer is really not seeing that space accurately. Lighting is the number one deficiency in the typical MLS photo and it takes specialized equipment and software to overcome this problem. Ultimately the better your house looks, the more likely you will get viewings which we all hope will turn in to a sale. The goal is to captivate and inspire the prospective buyer to want to see your property.
Robert will provide 15-25 quality photos that include a front exterior, back exterior and all major rooms such as living room, dining room, family room, kitchen, master bedroom, master bath and other bedrooms.
